58 and headachey
Some pills issues and depression issues have left me a bit wrung out and my head is in paaaain. But really, things are pretty awesome.
Wanna see our new shared altar? We follow different gods, but since they're from the same pantheon and they get along, we share space and generally worship together. We just got some new idols and stuff, too.
Brief tour: our idols are in the middle: a very protective Horus for her, and a rather sedate Anubis for me. In front of them is our offering bowl, which currently has sea salt and a little necklace pendant that we found and neither of us quite remember owning. o_O On either side are gold taper candles representing each of them, and they each get a white pillar candle as well, generally annointed--you can see a glass container of essential oils (I believe that's Blue Nile; we also have a few others in the drawer beneath. Anubis seems to prefer the frankincense and myrrh, since they're embalming oils). There's also a blue candle that Horus especially seems to like, and some incense--the burner is next to our bed right now but usually goes right by the bottle of sandalwood. We also have a little jar of silver flakes, a currently empty bottle, and to the left is a mirror stand with a glass pyramid, a glass rose I got Damien a while ago, and an ankh that comes with me when I feel I need extra protection. The stick incense on the right is called "Moon" from . . . somewhere. Made of moon! 8D And a sparkly lighter.

ETA: also, it's really hard to find Horus-related stuff. This is partly because he's just not that popular, and also because people tend to think Ra is Horus. Quick tip: Ra wears a disky thing on his head. Horus wears a crown that looks like a bowling pin.
