Moar Data!
Oh noes! just when our analysis was about complete, the Human Microbiome Project sent us more sequencing data! It's awesome in that it combines genome fragments into larger fragments so that we get better, sexier data, but grr! I'm going to have to redo my analysis (that's Jan - now).
Honestly... I don't really mind. This is great. In the redoing, I'll be consolidating skills, and it'll be a better analysis than it was to begin with. And my brain will get a break from feeling twisted into a pretzel.
In other news, my ear infection is slowly (but surely) dying off, and I'm feeling less resentful of this bag of meat that anchors me to reality.
