(no subject)
Halloween was awesome! They fixed up the bar downstairs at Matt's house and one guy (dressed as the dude who drove Herbie from the original Herbie movie) acted as our bartender all night. Matt spent like $700 or some other ridiculous amount of money to be able to wear his badass costume--he had a Halo costume! We also had the Burger King(he even gave away burgers!), Fred Flinstone, a cowboy, waldo, Hugh Hefner and a playboy bunny, a fire fighter, a mobster, a few cops, and some others. They also installed a stripper pole downstairs and had a smoke machine going. The smoke ended up going upstairs and throughout the whole house, it was pretty cool. Everybody drank waaayyyy too much. John and I ended up passing out on the floor and then waking up a little later to the sound of Khang (the Burger King) wailing (I guess that's the best word to describe it) and puking. I made him have some water and he passed out. Someone had drawn all over his face, and people said it was because he passed out with his shoes on, so fair game(as the house rules go), and I realized I had passed out with my boots on as well, but I was lucky enough that I was under a blanket and nobody realized I still had them on. I got out of there marker free. We puked and went to bed. John successfully peed in a sink.
We were sooo hungover in the morningand puked some. Went to Taco Bekk and got chalupas. Went home and slept for an hour, then had to shower, go buy Shanyn a wedding present, and off to her reception. I felt so sick wrapping the present in the back of the car on the way. Not a good idea, but my fault for procrastinating. Felt better after eating some at the reception and had a good time. John even had a good time. :) Shanyn wanted family pictures, so that was a little weird being with the family I haven't seen in years, but it was cool. Shanyn wanted John in the pictures too, so now he's in family pictures. He said he kind of has no choice but to marry me now. :)Goofball.
The only thing that made me sad was watching the father-bride dance. I don't think I'll even invite my father to my wedding. I think I'll have my sister give me away. I just don't think it would be right having him give me away. He was never a dad to me.
Anywho....
Shanyn looked beautiful and really happy. And Jordan looked so happy to be with her and so in love with her. I wish them the best of luck.
I may complain about wanting to have more in my life, but I am so lucky, I really am. John is so wonderful to me and I love him so much. And for an added bonus, he gives me lots of back and foot massages. This weekend was an overall win. Except for the MAJOR hangover (curse delicious Amarretto!! Should have just stuck to 151), and blackboard being absolute poop.
