I went to St. John's over the weekend for croquet, and it was pretty excellent. I stayed with the lovely anathelen and got to see a whole lot of people I hadn't seen in ages. Today, though, I'm having some kind of weird socializing "withdrawal," where the activity of the weekend somehow threw into relief how quiet and solitary my life here in NYC

man, i miss greg too. have you heard from him lately? i basically sucked at writing to him after the first year. :(

Missing Greg I think is the most justified and righteous missing there is. I haven't heard from him lately, and I've sucked at writing to him for the past maybe year or so. I keep meaning to write him a huge letter about my life, but then, you know, life keeps happening, and convenient moments for extended reflection haven't really been presenting themselves. This is all a pretty-sounding excuse, I know, I know.
