Roy, you do know that the only reason they would do this is because of a special occasion... I've told you before, it's not practical to wear something as such on a daily basis in the military. I recall I myself have worn skirts for the funerals of fallen officers. This is simply for dress and special occasions for example as such as you have stated....

But our women have knee-length skirts. They have on miniskirts. That makes a whole lot of difference!

Looking good is irrelevant in this case. Skirts limit the range of mobility of a soldier.
