It is somehow the twentieth anniversary of the airing of the first episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I should have a lot to say about this show and whatnot, but I'm nursing a kid with a concussion (he's fine... apart, you know, from the head injury).
I loved Buffy, and I loved its fandom, the first actual fandom I joined (in season seven). It was full of smart, passionate people who taught me more lessons (about writing, about life, about media criticism, and more) than I could ever count.
Thank you, all of you from that time, for sharing the adventure with me.
