The promo after Glee 5x13
I don't usually do this, but I want to talk a little bit about my reaction to the promo that aired after 5x13. Spoilers for the promo.
I really don't want to talk about the specifics of the promo, since I've watched it once and am going to try not to think about it too much, but OH MY GOD KLAINE IN NEW YORK. KLAINE IN NEW YORK!
I've been wanting them in New York together since, well, 2x22, really, when Rachel and Kurt talked about it outside of Tiffany & Co., but I've been YEARNING for them to be in New York since Kurt graduated and then left, and certainly since the break-up. I've wanted to be in the same space, living the same life. I've been desperate for it. I've been dreaming about it, writing about it, clawing at the screen for it.
AND NOW THEY WILL BE.
YOU GUYS. I've been playing with New York futurefic in my head and on the page for YEARS NOW, AND IT'S GOING TO BE ON MY SCREEN. IT'S GOING TO BE CANON. It's like watching fic come to life. IT'S FINALLY GOING TO BE REAL.
AND I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED I CAN BARELY CONTAIN MYSELF.
I hope it's wonderful and terrible, full of love and hardship, real and honest, sometimes giddy and sometimes hard, just like life is. I hope they grow together as they grow up. I hope it's complicated and earned. I hope there are fights as well as kisses. I hope there are bumps in the road. I hope there is SO MUCH LOVE between them. I hope we see it ALL, all the wonderful, terrible things that growing up can be and how having someone do it with you makes it better.
DON'T TELL ME, BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO KNOW. PLEASE DON'T TALK SPECIFICS even about the promo. I WANT TO WAIT TO SEE IT ON MY SCREEN.
