Episode tag for last week's episode, Kurt and Rachel. I was going to write about this issue from Blaine's POV, but then Kurt started talking in my head. He had much more to say, even if his perspective is his own and not omniscent. :)

My heart is crying for Kurt and his thoughtless friends. Seeing what you did with the shirtlessness and lack of continuity from last year - how Kurt thought he had been holding Blaine back... It's the saddest thought I have had about this episode.

I love how much we pay attention to the details that are important, Miss Muse. Blaine not putting himself up for sale, the bizarre (for me and Kurt) turnabout for him to be fine with it here, and how Kurt is realizing that he didn't really know as much as he thought he did about Blaine.

Wonderfully thinky (and achy!) stuff there, and I love that you write me, erm, fandom these wonderful episode fics.

Wow, that was a lot more emotional than I expected it to be! This stuff didn't even cross my mind when the episode aired. As usual, you are so talented at really digging into the character's thought processes and emotions, and it was great to see more of Kurt in an episode that had far too little of him, as far as I'm concerned! Thanks for writing/ sharing with us!

I just kept coming back to why Blaine would be so adamantly against blatant sexuality last year (in public - obviously he is happy to be sexual with Kurt and is ready for more faster than Kurt is) and so apparently at ease with it this year, and although my conclusions about him are different than Kurt's I found it very interesting to think about what Kurt might think. :)

I don't know how Kurt can NOT be hurt and have feelings for Blaine, even as he's moving on. This was such a formative relationship; it doesn't just go away.

I do think Kurt is becoming much more secure in himself than he used to be, we can see that, but it's still a part of him to be aware.
