You have got to be kidding me.
I had this idea for a fic today that I'm about 75% sure I'm not even going to post because of all of the places I'm totally failing in it, but I had to doodle it out anyway to get it out of my head instead of working on all of the other fics I have on my plate (including the massive AU)... and I just checked, and I've written nearly 6k words in a few hours today. And I'm telling the story in an abbreviated form.

I'm happy to have words, but OMG. I wish I could get that kind of word count per hour on a normal day on a fic I think is halfway solid.
