Semi-productive

I finally got an account over at the AO3 and archived a few of my fics there (Sports Night, SG-1, Firefly, and H50)... and now the Buffy and Angel categories are looming in my journal's sidebar, mocking me. Ugh. I kind of don't want to upload any of it, except that I've written well over a hundred fics in the combined fandoms and feel like I ( Read more... )

So no pressure to anybody. I understand over-whelment and also understand needing to complete. (very ocd heritage, grandpa cut brownies with a ruler and had a mathematical formula to allow for curving of the pan)

That being said, I am new to Buffy and Angel and I am working my way through all of the fic of this grp of ppl that are friends. Some of the drabbles are amazing.

I would vote for collections like Spike Drabbles or categories like Humor Drabbles. I could have the file up and read several in a row and go back to my faves. Woudn't that be just a matter of cutting and pasting, she says naively.

As to quality, I'm in another fandom and am right now re-posting my ten year old fic which has been underwraps for at least five years (a site went down). It's been very encouraging to some new writers that I beta for that I didn't know it all. Quite humbling too which I could do without but then it's also good to know that I've learned something in the past ten years even when I wasn't writing actively.

This is mostly to say, whatever you choose, I love your work and am actively pursuing it now.

Thank you so much for this comment. It is really helpful! I am reminded that when I discover a new-to-me author I tend to devour all of her older fic, too. So in that regard if I can stomach it I think it makes sense to put it all up there, drabbles included if I can group them properly.

Thank you very much!

but please, please, please no pressure.

I'm a slow reader because of so much going on, and I'll enjoy whatever you choose to put up. I know that you have a young one and are writing on many projects.

If I get caught up, I can always re-read Reality Bends for the third time. :)

Don't worry! I don't feel pressured! Besides, all of my fic is on my LJ, so I know people can find it if they are interested.
