My own personal canon.

I'm not one for memes, but this one looks fun. If you give me a character or a pairing, I'll tell you five-ish things that are a part of my own personal canon about him/her/them*. BtVS, AtS, Firefly, SGA, SG-1, due South, Sports Night are all up for grabs. Did I forget a fandom I've written (if not posted) in? Try me ( Read more... )

1. If he hadn't met Fraser, Ray Kowalski would have taken a lot longer to get over Stella. It was through Fraser's solid friendship and the very distracting fixation Ray grew toward him that Ray was able to let her go and have her own life without him.

2. Ray is bi. He knows he's bi, he's slept with men, and he's (mostly - it's hard to shake one's upbringing) okay with that. He's also totally a monogamist. He didn't look at another person, male or female, when he was with Stella, and he doesn't look at another person when he's with Fraser.

3. Fraser is bi, but he doesn't know he is. He suppresses his feelings so much that he's always surprised when anyone pulls him in. Before Ray they were all women, and he doesn't realize what he's feeling toward Ray is anything more than the very strong brotherly love (with a bit of attraction he doesn't realize) he has toward Vecchio... at least until they decide to part ways in MotB and his heart aches in a different way than it did when he came back to find Vecchio gone. He still doesn't have a name for it.

4. Ray has a thing for making Fraser lose control. A big thing. Whether it's yelling at him or getting so worked up during sex he can't keep himself together, it's all good for Ray. He can get hard as a rock just seeing Fraser's temper flare in his eyes.

5. At some point Ray teaches Fraser to dance. Fraser can get the steps perfectly, but he doesn't feel the music and get into it until Ray drops the traditional dance pose and gets them in close, their arms around each other, and they sway.
