Irony?

So, as some of you know I have been actively in search of a second job. This is because i have only been able so far to get 8-10 hours a week about with my two clients [only so many afternoons in a week and both client's parents want the same time in the afternoon about]. So I've been looking for something that I can add some daytime hours. So far, starbucks has been the most promising considering the manager pretty much knows me by now. I had one interview with her monday and I am scheduled to have a second interview with the assistant manager thursday. So far sounds simple right? Well, then Barnes and Noble finally decides to call me today; so now I have an interview with them tomorrow at noon. Still, sounds simple right? Then, at the monthly staff meeting tonight I am talking with Dee-Dee for a bit afterward and Kimba is talking with Dr. McBee about a client they are trying to find a therapist for. Kimba just happens to say how she asked so-and-so, so-and-so and Katie.... and then points out well not me the other Katie. I jokingly say yea couldn't be me I dunno what you are talking about. Then Kimba goes: "Heyy actually do you happen to have any daytime hours available?" To which Dee-Dee and I almost laugh because she knows that I have been looking for a second job for exactly that reason. So now there is a good chance I will be picking up another client to work with sometime after 12pm a couple days a week. Suddenly? This is not so simple!

I have decided one day I will make myself one of those people that different places are trying to all out-bid each other for me to work for them.

Because this is seriously just insanity.

I will probably still be getting the second job but likely not working as much with it as I originally intended.
