Observation

People have basically genderless minds (I mean minds, not brains). I think all the gender stuff comes in through chromosones and hormones, and even how you were treated by your parents when you were a baby (that's a big part of it). If you're a man, you have hormones that affect your thoughts and make you act like a man. It's the same with women, who have different hormones and bodily needs.

If you got rid of all the chemicals in the blood stream, the two sexes would be very similar in the way they act. But people would have to be treated the same regardless of gender. At the moment, people's emotional growth is stunted by society making taboos and walls depending on your genitals. And judging people by their chromosones is as stupid as saying 'Blonde people like cheese.'

This all came about when my mum was mentioned men holding doors open for women. I went on about equality and how that's hypocritical. She says the feminists went too far and that they are rejecting what it is to be a woman, and that they've only lost respect for women. She then said that there are emotional differences between men and women, and that's important because otherwise we wouldn't have lasted so long.

This got me thinking about what it means to be a man or a woman. And I decided it's all physical.
