\1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song.
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions
4. You will include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.
(these are brooke's)
1. Which game was your favorite to run and why?
My senior year game. It was the perfect combination of awesome players and a fun world - and everyone liked everyone else. The hijinks were perfect. I have high hopes for this game, but I don't know that it can beat that one. We'll see.
2. What was your favorite part of you/Josh's wedding day?
Listening to his vows (sniff) or the part where Dustin made us laugh during the Big Kiss. That was hilarious. Also the Rings on a Wedding incident.
3. If you were to live in a fictional universe--television/movie/book/whatever--what would it be and why?
Meryton springs to mind, but the characters who live there are typed and would get old if dealing with them in real life. Plus, the only normal people are already all taken. I could totally live in Avonlea or Four Winds happily.
Otherwise, I'd want to live in the Dream Side of Black/Red/White.
4. If you could live anywhere and import the people to you, where would you live?
First of all, I would praise God so hard. I hate that the people I love are in two places, tearing me between them. Then....I dunno. I actually love North Dakota for a number of reasons. It's wonderful up here. If I wanted to get out of the cold, I'd say rural Georgia. I've been told I'm the most Southern-belle northerner (various southern internet pals) have met, and that they are unsure how/disbelieve that I was born north of the m-d line. I would like to try my hand at actually being a southern belle, instead of just taking the fall for it. It could be fun.
The problem with Georgia I hear is the (giant huge creepy gross) bugs. I might stick with North Dakota anyway.
It should be assumed that my most desired place to live would be someplace like Mount Vernon - a town little enough to have a working homestead and know all of your neighbors (whereby "neighbors" I mean the entire street, plus all the surrounding streets, and the teller at the bank, check-out girl at the grocery, etc.), but with a big enough city to have anything you want nearby. Bismarck is nice, but I'd prefer to buy a house out of town here, though it's more impractical here. It's really nice to be in the city for weather.
5. What's your favorite thing to cook?
I...huh. wow, that's a really, really hard question. The honest answer is "whatever makes people the happiest " - I love it when people love my cooking. <3 It makes me so super-happy. Mac and Cheese would be high on the list because it has a very high ratio of compliments to work. Despite my love of eating them, wontons would be fairly low, as while the compliments are high, the ratio is still about 1:1. I love making bread because it's so easy and so worth it. I don't do it enough.
Right now I'm craving pancakes again.
