Yes. Which is unfortunate. On the plus side though, there are now more women business owners than ever before. I guess the old addage about wanting something done right is true, yes?

Depends on which workforce you speak of. At my current place of employment there are around 20 employees/contractors and only one of them is male. And he only comes in once a week to do Office Bitch work ( ... )

in my field yes very much so however if you can find any women who actually want to run a sewer cable or auger a toilet i'll train them up. there just doesn't seem to be much of a population of women plumbers at all. my pops trained one once but she quit cause back then there wasn't much along the line of sensitivity training and it being a commission job based on sales she just didn't recieve the respect of a male her same age from the customers. it's a shame really. i have one guy i know who calls me at least once a week for advice, his sales are better cause his hair is white so when he tells somebody they need this or that they tend to believe him more than they would me since i still look wet behind the ears. but that's not really the point is it. no there are no chick plumbers i don't blame them it's fucking nasty work somedays
