My weekend was pretty fun. Boston weather was not as bad as I presumed it would be. Snow still amazes me, like I'm the only one outside of the venue playing with the snow. TJ Scallywaggle's is fucking amazing, I will eat there every single time I go out there. Their vegan pizza, the best I've ever eaten, as well as the strawberry cheesecake.
I like Welfare Records alot, but seeing one of my favorite bands in a different state still doesn't feel right to me. I prefer to see them in California, which is my home. The show was overall really good. Every single band did amazing, at least I think so. The dives were way intense, I'm glad I didn't get in the way and only got kicked in the face. Oh, I ended up punching myself in the face, by accident. Like I said, it still feels weird...
Walter & I stayed at Embassy Suites. It was nice and we ordered not-so-great Chinese food. I love being with him. Our 2 year anniversary is a week from today. I cannot wait! I still love him more than anything in this world...
So, Rivalry Showcase 2008, fucking so stoked beyond belief. I am in awe, I am anxious, I can't even tell you how much I'm excited, especially since Betrayed is playing. Betrayed! I feel like this showcase will make my year. Oh, and vegan pizza. God damn, hardcore and food = life.
I'm probably going to force myself to work 24 hours a week next semester, instead of the usual 16. I need to finish my tattoo really bad, and I can't do that since I spend most of my money on gasoline, food, shows, dvds--- which are a given in my money-spending criteria. And now, I have to feed a mouth, my dog Tommy. I must buy him all his essential needs, after all he is mine. So, that's been decided.
Gotta go clean, then go to work. L8!
