This place is so dull. At least in the Fire Nation we had an island which we could retreat to.

Honestly, if you are going to kidnap a Princess? Give her something to do. Firebending training can only go so far in the realm of entertainment. Or maybe I have been friends with Mai too long and everything is a bore.

Yes. It's poorly done most of the time but there's a high probability they're aiming for art.
