Guess it's not just me...

Front page news in today's paper:

According to this article, only 23% of enrolled students at IUPUI graduate within a span of 6 years. Guess I don't feel so bad about my own extended attendance...

That doesn't surprise me. When I was going to Herron, it would have taken me fully 5 years to get my BFA in Visual Communications.

I think that's par for schooling anymore, past high school at least. No matter what area you study. But hey, you aren't giving up, proven by your extended attendance! Kudos to you for that much!!

It's NOT just you - I'm CAREER baby! Been trying off and on for like 5 years, and I'm just now a junior. And I want a Phd, HA!!!

Yep, never gonna be done. See you at the graduation party... when we're 40!
:)
Keep on truckin'.

P.S. Even though I'm pissed at him, Joss rules!

Wow... I wonder how that compares with other schools as well? I only know of one or two people that actually finished college in the stereotypical 4-year time frame; most everyone I know is 5 years. My husband took 7, but as he is pretty much the only one using his degree on a daily basis so as I said with the GPA, most preconceived notions barely hold water.

It took me 5 years to earn my BS in English and Psychology. Now I'm working on my 3rd degree (Unexamined life and all that... I hate the "real world"). You've done admirably. You know how, just not when, right?
