Valentine's Day

I recently took a "What age do you act?" quiz, and it said that I act 18. Odd, but not terribly surprising, as I am still filled with much anti-authoritarian, anti-societal fervor. Somewhere in my head, I'm still waging a war on societal expectation, which just means I'm at odds with anyone who thinks I can "do better" than I currently am. If you actually do believe I can "do better", don't tell me. Otherwise, I might just wind up looking at you with a cold, dead stare that says, "Fuck you. You can wither up and die, now."

So it is upon us, that "dreaded" day for those who are single. Being as such, it brings cause for me to wonder. Why must it be deemed societally unacceptable to want to be single? After my last relationship, I'm definitely in no hurry to find another. I firmly believe in quality rather than quantity in all things, and I'll leave it at that. ;) So why must so many define themselves by their relationship status? I just don't get it! Relationships are not the end-all and be-all of life! It seems that so many forget there is a World out there...

Not to be completely ironic, but there is a World of WarCrack that calls...might even post pics sometime simply because, well, I'm a geek. :)

Happy Valentine's Day to those that celebrate it! :)
