been getting random anonymous comments that i cannot seem to source.

have updated privacy/comment/ip log settings.

just a fyi. in case one of you is doing it, now it's impossible. i do not think it is anyone i have friended though.

Could be either someone with a beef against me, or wants to stir trouble, or is a gossip troll. No specifics just were vague menacing or mean sounding things.

I'm figuring it's something or other and will blow over. If it's a troll, well, problem gone, if it's someone I know, they can now resort to more advanced methods... I'm far from anywhere near perfect but it's rather cowardly to be vague and b-y without reason nor name... kind of insults me honestly. It also increases my natural paranoia. Hence, all comments now filtered, all IPs logged, etc.

That drives me crazy; after a few mean anon comments a few years ago I went Friends Only and did all the IP marking. Seriously, do people have nothing better to do with their time?

Thank you thank you. I have dealt with some crap in the past, though I don't like F/O b/c then it doesn't transcribe my voice posts. I like the halfwit auto-transcribe, so I go F/mostly. This will hopefully give a bead on the situ though.

Most of the time I have the suspicion that, if it's someone I know, they'll be frightened off by the IP log and not do it. I mean, show your face or don't, none of this half-assed crap... If it's a troll, then that's a headache.
