It makes sense. People don't seem that overjoyed to be part of the police. Maybe your suggestion will get more attention.

I'd rather see the city act as a whole. We had someone act almost like a leader in the past but...that didn't really work.

The only reason I don't like the police is because they haven't been organized enough recently and all of this chaos with Walter and everything else has managed to go un-punished.

We captured him for what? A few days? And my sister along with a handful of others busted him out. They've obviously started banding together.

So now? That's what we got to do and it needs to happen now.

If you want to do this, start from scratch. Don't use revenge as a handhold to get people's attention. That won't last. Worry about the threats still left out there. Walter isn't one.

I agree with you about the cops. I like your idea better and you've got my vote. You seem level headed and suited to be a leader, from this little I've seen.

Revenge? No. I won't lie to you and say I didn't consider it time and time again but... these people, this city can handle him.

Fine. If you believe they'll keep him in check then I'll believe in them too. But he's killed enough and if he gets out I won't hesitate to fight him. I know he can't die, I'm not stupid enough to think I can kill him...

Sounds like a good plan to me. I know my sister best. I think maybe we should try to take her out first. If she is re-chipped she'll be easier to handle by far. Her firebending will be trouble if we try to just stick her in prison. She's clever. I'm sure she'd think of some way out.

But without it she was even coming to me for help.

Right now, Walter wants to keep himself in check. He realizes his guilt and will let the city lock him up--forever if it comes to that. If a mob got after him though, who knows what the hell could happen.

Pick them off one at a time. You should do it soon, before they either find their own strength or another figurehead to lead them. Discedo deserves a peaceful time, but there's no way to get peace without conflict.
