PLUSHENKO!
plushenko TVT this olympics was the first time i saw his performance. He may have lost the gold medal but he was certainly the one and only shining star of the entire event for me. I think even though lysacek won the gold, plushenko definitely captured more hearts world wide. This is not a criticism on Lysacek's part, I'm sure he skated well, but I must agree with Plushenko, Olympics is not a show, it's a competition, and when you lower the technical requirements you kill the tradition of the sport in exchange for a fancy show.
Plushenko will always be remembered to me now as the platinum winner XDDD
with his skills and absolute commanding presence, i'd say he really deserves to be a diva...i see diva as a good word. he simply radiates such a presence that lysacek did not have when he skates, where as all the other competitors' performance is like a self-promotion for the final spot, he skates as if he's not making a promotion but rather a final statement that he is indeed the leader XD i luv his whole attitude so much XD i'd agree, lysacek's performance was smooth but...plain.
unfortunately for most, some people in this world deserves to be diva, just SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY CAN. -v- what with godly skills and...and...andafacethatlookslikeivanbraginski(is shot)
Aside from him I like the youth and sunshineness of Jeffrey Buttle's performances. He's such a young promise XD (plus he looks like real life version of Alphonse Elric grown up ver? OvO)
