I've always seen Halloween as a test of faith. The nuns at the convent didn't 'celebrate' as most do. No trick-or-treating, no candy, no costumes or parties. It was a day born out of spirits returning to the world of the living, a time to pray... As it coincided so closely with the Day of the Dead (being the night before), All Hallow's Eve wasn't something to just party about.

*sigh*

Yet, everyone here seems to take it so lightly. Well, the ones that know what it's about do. I don't see why... but I suppose I should participate... if only to see what the fuss is about.
