"one more pretty thing"
Tonight i painted flowers and lemons while i listened to Beethoven piano conertos and Greg Brown.
(the song from last night is called Tunic, by sonic youth. its worth the listen. side note- Haughty Melodic is worth even more than just one listen, mike doughty's the man)
the Schroon river water level is about 2 feet higher after last night and completely brown and raging. It was the coolest thing i saw today, plus where it feeds into the hudson theres a few miles where its in the same river bed so one side is crystal and the other is completely opaque divided right down the center. the storm also washed away part of I-87 from ex 23 to 25. (23 is our exit) I love these storms, i wish summer would be this intense all the way through. im tired of boring.
i feel good. better than i have in a long time. this is a genuine warm feeling.
