March was an entertaining month.
Over Spring Break, I took one of the kids I babysit for to the zoo. It was sunny, in the seventies, and she almost got heatstroke (not really, but we did have to go inside and sit down for awhile).
This is a giraffe:
This is a sweltering Eisbaer:
These are elephants getting a bath:
This is a pretty flower. It is sideways because a) I am too lazy to turn it around and b) you should exercise your neck more:
Then, last week (28. March), as Tulsans know, it snowed. I think I measured a good 8 inches on top of Hyphen's car, and it was deeper in the backyard. We went out and frolicked.
This is the front yard and driveway, early in the day. There was more snow to come:
This is SuperDog:
This is Hyphen laughing at SuperDog:
This is SuperDog chasing Hyphen for daring to laugh at her:
SuperDog caught him, but I guess he didn't taste very good:
Here SuperDog rests from her labors, up to her belly in snow:
Thus end the adventures of SuperDog. But wait! There are still more pictures. This is a tree, covered in nice spring leaves, covered in snow:
Here is another, this one sheltered by the porch, so the green vs. snow is more obvious:
It was great snow. Our across-the-street-and-down-a-couple neighbors made a snowman:
Finally, one last picture of Kaylee the SuperDog:
And then the next day it was back in the seventies and it all melted away.
THE END.
