Ugh, it's just a day. A day like any other. So why does this day have to mean more than any other? Why does it mean more to say "I love you" today than it does tomorrow or it did yesterday? Oh right, cause DeBeers and Hallmark said so, just to jack up their prices and revenue. Stupid commercial holidays.
I shouldn't feel any more bitter about not being with him today than I did yesterday, but I do. Most of the time it just doesn't bother me, it just like any other day, but today.... ugh. And it's not like I'm walking around seeing happy couples in love who are making me jealous. I'm just doing to myself. Fuck you social contracts.
