...Are "cute" and "rambly" synonyms for "totally exhausted"????
I've never been one for trivia--Rhyo used to drive me CRAZY with her trivia quizzes, because she's all into that. I know what I know, which I guess is "eclectic trivia".
But I'm not used to just going so BLANK so much.
Dione (the black Siamese kitty) had to take so many pills for her heart and her kidneys that I think she kind of lost her sense of smell to a degree. At one point I sprayed some whipped cream onto the palm of my hand and offered it to her--and she wasn't interested. So I touched her nose and got some on it. When she LICKED her nose clean, she made this incredibly high "MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!" squeal and could not attack my hand fast enough (because whipped cream was her FAVOURITE). She hadn't recognised what it was or that she would really want it.
I've been doing similar things, like making some tea and taking a sip and then I'm all excited because I suddenly remember I LOVE it.
So I guess I have become Dione. You'll remember the stories about her--she was the cat that my friends and I accused that airheaded waitress of being who brought us plate after plate after plate of food and NONE of it was ANYTHING any of us had ordered. That's "Dione brain".
I have Dione brain. I may have to sing to the spiders next.
Sad to say, it's a clear reference for someone so spacey and 'out of it' for at least six people! That poor cat!!
Dione was actually a very SMART cat, but she was also an obvious airhead. I suspicion she was Aquarian. She was the cat with the HUGE imagination, too. She'd play games where there were obvious "pretending" going on, both with herself and with we humans.
Dione was the one where when we passed our favourite BBQ spot (with the Mambo Sauce...yummm! Too bad it's gone out of business), we'd all go: "Miz Dione!! You get yourself home! You've had enough barbecue!"...and when we got home we'd ask her how it was. Elaine, Rhyo, Max, and I all made these references. I really miss the little kitty-kid. She was quite a character.
She'd even let us spray whipped cream directly into her mouth, which most cats won't do because of the noise.
When I tell you about "the little black kitty that lives in my head" that is the male character Muir? He's based off of Dione.
