[It's nighttime in Luceti and Roku's sitting atop the roof of House 56. Why was he up there? Probably bored and was watching the stars or maybe just checking the damage done by Zuko's attempt to firebend. Possibility of leaks are not fun...and no, he's not holding off on that talk he was suppose to have with Zuko, not at all

[And here comes a Zuko walking out of the house. He saw over the journal that Azula is here, and he's not sure what he thinks of that. Having to try to take down your own sister once is bad enough, and he was really hoping that with the influx of people coming from his world she wouldn't be one of them. Apparently though he has no such luck.]

[He hears someone coming out of the house and sits up. Speaking of grandchildren, there's one of them now. He's looking a little better now, so now he really doesn't have any excuse to hold things off.]

[Zuko doesn't even register the voice, he just hears that name and reacts.

Sorry about that fire burst flying towards you Roku. About 2 seconds after he's let it off Zuko's brain catches up to the fact that it was Roku's voice that just spoke to him.]

[Oh shi-! He quickly stands up and deflects the fire away. Awesome reflexes for the win.]

[Azula has actually just moved in next door - Communal Building Five, in fact. She's been out and exploring all day and she pauses on her way back as she notices the young Avatar Roku.]

So, you're really Avatar Roku?

[She sounds skeptical.]

[He starts, sitting up. O-Oh dear, he's been told not to get too close to you but...they're still related. He'll just have to be careful about what he says.]

[She folds her arms, a smug smirk on her face. No way he can be the Avatar from one hundred years ago.]

[He hops back down to the ground. Roku will makes sure he's put some distance between himself and the house before starting. Taking a deep breath, he starts with a few firebending moves. Probably nothing impressive from a firebender, but once he gets into the airbending...that'll probably get Azula's attention]

[Oh hey, he's heard about you. And can't help his curiosity after talking to Katara.]

[He blinks. He didn't realize the journal had picked up what he had said.]

...I just didn't know what to expect. Although I don't know how long I could avoid it I'm the only one in the past. [He blinks, looking at the man who was talking to him. Never seen him before] Sorry, but who are you?

[a low chuckle] Apologies. My name is Ginko, I'm an acquaintance of Sokka and Katara's.

[Look, it's the weirdo with the silver hair again! Now, Riku's dealt with time paradoxes himself, but one year is nothing compared to a hundred, hence the reason why he stops upon overhearing Roku's musing.]

You have some time issues too? Well, it's so far into the future that it just feels kinda...surreal. I'll be long gone by their time, you know, so it shouldn't effect me but...[He leans back, stroking the back of his neck] I have people who are related to me, kids. It's really strange.

It certainly can. You assume it does, of course, but the world can change more than you would even expect it to. [He knows this after missing out on just fifty years]
