Wow. Time does fly by super fast! It seems like it's a new month every other day.
Right now I'm just waiting up for my early registration. Hopefully everything goes how it should, but you never know. Since I'm taking Organic 2 in the fall without chm 212, I'm afraid that I'll have to get an override, which would suck. Especially if it fills up and especially since that's a big hassle. Ugh. I guess I'll just have to wait till 12:01 and see.
Everything else with school seems to be going pretty well. I'm more than ready for a break though. I will be ecstatic when June 30 rolls around. You see, this semester will end in May and I will have 10 days to enjoy myself (or more likely, work) before I enter into summer school (organic chemistry) while juggling a job at the same time. I had a 4.0 1st semester and as it stands now, I have a 4.0 for this semester. Those are super important because I need to keep my scholarships. With my rough schedule coming up, those will make for a nice cushion, although hopefully I will be fine regardless.
That being said, Justin and I (granted everything works the way it should) will have matching schedules in the fall. That will ensure that we'll see each other every day, which is nice. We hit our 2 year mark in January, and I couldn't be any happier. Even after two years, everything is still fun and exciting. I feel so happy and so blessed to be in a relationship with him. It is simply perfect.
One of our recent undertakings is the Astra-nomical Race. Basically it is a 12 week race around the Huntington area(there's also one in Charleston) that ends with a car. We are doing it together, but working separately to double our chances. We're up to week 10, with next Monday being clue #11. It's been pretty fun so far, so hopefully we can make it to the last place early enough to get a key and try to unlock the Astra for ourselves.
Over spring break, I finally got some apple bottoms. They fit my ass, and they fit it nicely. It's one of the only pairs of jeans I've ever gotten that has actually fit me the right way in the right places. I LOVE those freakin' jeans (even if they were dang expensive)!
I wish I saw my friends more. I can't remember the last time a group of us all went out. Heck, me and Justin spend most of our time together at school (though today we had a nice shopping outing and we do go to get our Astra pics every week). Basically I see my other friends at school too. And with all of our classes and jobs, it's nearly impossible to get anyone together to do anything. If there's a good movie, Justin and I will go on an obscure night to see it, but there really has been nothing good out recently. That and with all that my dad's had going on recently, I've spent a large portion of this year sitting at the hospital and doing all of my homework and stuff there. (He's on the mend now though and should be going back to work Monday, after being off for 2 months. Thank God everything is ok and that he is alive. There were a few days that were very scary.)
Social life, where did you go? I need you to come back.
Well poop. Justin and I tried to register annnnnd they didn't put the fall semester up for some reason. So I dunno if that's just on us. If they forgot to open up our early registration. If they forgot to put it up all together. If it's only screwed up for certain people. I dunno. He doesn't know. We don't know. But all together it sucks. Those classes fill up fast and it's going to be ultra-crappy if we have to try to re-do everything because of a mistake on the school's part.
