I told Jeria about Jeria the soul in that stone not being her friend, but some tortured, terrified woman instead. She handled it... well. As well as could be expected anyway, I suppose. She keeps herself under very tight control - admirable. The whole story about her friend and the circumstances was all very... confusing, but not as mad or unbelievable as she was warning me. I think. Assuming I understood all of what she was able to tell. I wonder if there's any books around concerning voodoo... hm.
It's a very good thing I don't sleep much. The... impact... of that woman's tortured soul would give me nightmares for weeks. I sincerely hope, if Jeria brings back any more soulstones like that, the soul inside is not so... tormented. That is not something I want to deal with again, ever. Could really use a hug right ab
I'm going to need more soulshards. Should probably go out and stock up so I have enough to last a little while, then attempt to free that woman's soul. Note to self - remember to let Jeria know how that turns out.
