Busch Gardens and you

Well, I went to hang out with Maloli's (her Hawaiian name) parents and that young lady as well as Michael for the weekend. It was both exhilarating and relaxing. We basically just had a cool, chill sorta time. They have a hot tub and a big pool so there was fun to be had there. We played some volleyball stuff and that was pretty fun and enjoyable.

The room I stayed in was actually pretty funny, basically like some Floridian type seedy hotel room - lots of palm trees, dolphin shaped lights and a blueish tone to the whole room. It was painted pinkish, too, which is funny and had really slippery sorta sheets. Smelled like smoke, too, which was gross but I got over it. The first night was funny 'cause there seemed to be some sort of scampering in the roof. I didn't notice any if there was the second night.

Anyway, Busch Gardens was pretty rockin'. It's basically an amusement park/zoo and somehow that actually works pretty well. We went on some wooden roller coaster which was way too intense for a wooden coaster. And rough, too, though they tend to be a little more rocky than the steel coasters. Everything else was pretty smooth, though. The Sheikra, or whatever, looked to be quite terrifying but it wasn't so bad once we got on it. Very smooth, over waaaay too fast. I think the best coaster was the Moombu or the Mootu or something weird like that. It was my personal favorite, felt like it was like two minutes long, lots of twists and cork screws and stuff. Very fun. The more freedom, the better, i say.

Also, we went on a pirate ship while we were there. And we checked out all the coasters, which was cool 'cause they had like four or five and it reminded me of Kennywood in a lot of ways. I guess just 'cause they had close to the same amount of coasters and other fun rides. The food was okay. I wanted a corn dog. =D But, alas, none ot be found.

We played some card game named Phase 10 which was weird. I wasn't so good at it. Basically ten stages, you have to do what each level says to progress further and when someone runs out of cards a new round starts and whatever level you were on at the end of that level you start on that level come the next round. First one to the tenth stage wins. It was confusing at first, but it made sense later on. We also played scrabble on the board that Mallory had made for her mom. That was cool.

And Bella, one of their two dogs, swam with us while we were playing with the ball in the water. She kept chasing after it and running circles around the pool. And sometimes she would fall in on accident or she'd leap in. It was really funny. Cute animal, very sweet.

On the way back, we sang a lot of songs and acted quite silly. Much the way, I suppose, one might if they were on a road trip to say Dragon*Con... which is coming up mighty fast. There was lots of good conversations, of course, and we basically got to talking as people always will about stuff that I already forgot. But it was nice.

And we caught the tail end of a Spectacular Spider-man episode I hadn't seen, so that was good news right there. Annnnd, last night and today I'm a little not so physically up to speed. My head hurts and I have the chills/burny...s.. and when I breathe in it feels a little icy/sicky so there is that. But, I lit some candles and my dad made me some yummy tuna fish and things are looking up - relatively.

The Dark Knight ride at Six Flags looks awesome. I wanna go right now. Well, in a few days when I'm not sick. I like amusement parks. =D
