Call it what you want, I've made up my mind.

Chris is a nice kid. Probably my favorite of Ray's friends, and I like to think a decent friend of mine too. That said, he came into town for some job-related thing of his which I won't go into. And we ended up hanging out for a bit and it was pretty fun. So... let's high light that adventure.
Also, I'm now licensed to drive a motorcycle. Or I will be after the DMV tomorrow.
Okay, we ate at Kobe's and this family across from us ('cause they always sit you with strangers if there was only like.. two of you.. also, made me laugh 'cause there was just one guy and the place looked empty and I thought it would just be four of us - Dom came too - but it ended up that their whole family was just not there and like seven of them appeared at once.) Anyway. They had a birthday over there and apparently it was someone's birthday (which was funny since Chris, before when it was a birthday elsewhere, was like 'there goes that conversation' 'cause they are really annoying with the gong thing) well, they had their gong and then they had three extra pieces of cake from their little birthday thing.. so we got some. And we felt really lame about it. But it was funny, so we enjoyed it.
Then we came back to hear Streetlight's new CD. Well, really we went to go and see about figuring out if we could catch a movie. Turns out there wasn't anything extraordinary playing so we skipped out. So we traveled back to the hotel.
We watched some of the Discovery channels goofball earth thing. I realized that a panda really looks like a human in a panda suit. Streetlight's new CD is awesome. Like way awesome.
Anyway, one of the people he was staying with showed up and this guy (and all of the other guys really) were trying to get Chris (and Dom and I) to go to as trip club. But just the one guy, Dave, came into the room. And Chris didn't wanna go (and neither did we) so Dave told the other guys that no one was here. And we had to hide. So that was pretty funny. Chris and I were chatting, stuck in the middle between the beds (with a bed between us, staring through the space under the bed and laughing and talking) and then we talked with Dave for a bit.
He seemed pretty cool. And I like Chris, and we talked about lights and his job and the situations we faced as living. And we talked about bikes for a bit. It was neat. I had a good time.. and I'm real glad I went, even though at first I didn't want to 'cause I was really tired. But, the nap helped and then we was all good.
