OK....so this is going to be about everyone's favorite past time.....................wait for it.....wait for it. Procrastination!! Yay. Which is what I am currently doing. You see, I have a 7 to 8 page rough draft comlpete with sources due at my appointment at 8:12 in the morning. A paper to which I am just now beginning, but can't seem to get motivated to do. I think doing this might help me out a little
Don't Upset the Rythem
Alrighty. When trying to complete a daunting task, such as a monster paper thatis worth over half of your grade for a class, you shouldn't get sidetracked. Upsetting your working rythem will make you procastinate till the break of dawn. I know this for a fact, I am a professional procrastinator. Beginning your work at the last minute may not always reslut in the best grade you can get for an assignement, which is why you need to turn the music off, go in a room away from the remote control and your friends, leave your Facebook status as "doing my work, don't call/text me," or something of the like. GET TO WORK.
When you are assigned something to do, at least read the directions before the night before it is due, you might find out that you needed to go to some conference or presentation the week before to get some crucial material and then you will end up BSing your paper so horribly that you fail the paper and your professor will think you are a complete idiot, some of them may not say it, the honest ones will. The Professors who will publically humilaite those who get bad grades on papers *yes, some professors do this and they can, I have a professor wwho does this exact thing* will make everyone in your class see that you are not bothering to do your work to at least a satisfactory level, or just think you are an idiot as well.
Well, in writing this far, I am feeling a renewed feeling of work ethic. I think I shall begin murdering my paper on the wait for it....hold on...here it comes.... Internet Medium's affect on College age voters. Yes, I am one of those who thinks that the internet is killing many American minds on political activity.
Now, get to work, get off of livejournal and facebook, and if you feel like procrastinating any further, leave me a comment. I'd like to publically humiliate you when you get your grade back for your paper.
