Adjusting and such

The past week has seemed to just fly by with meetings and such. I've become much more acclamated to my apartment and the area and even found enough money ($57) to go to Ann Taylor Loft and buy myself a nice tank and cardigan for work/play wear. You see, I've realized my wardrobe has converted into clothes I can wear both at work and casually. I found that I can fit back into a couple pairs of pants that I have been saving around so I'm excited at that prospect. I am also loving Netflix and Saturday will be dedicated to getting my shoes fixed possibly (got a pair of J.Crew boots that have heels in need of TLC) and watching the end of BSG Season 2 (I know, do not judge me by how far back I am with the series) and the second disc of Secret Diary of a Call Girl. I plan on a Sunday excursion to JMU to visit some of my friends and doing laundry is a must at some point. It's hard to believe that it's almost been a month since I moved up here to Winchester and although I constantly miss my family, friends, and Teddy, I've found that I am strong enough to be independent and by myself for as long as needed.

I got my first paycheck today too and it's a little less than what I'll normally get which translates to WOW :D

Downside: I got bills to pay. Boo. I'll just go and buy something bad for me for dinner then. Instead of finding a gym to finally join.

Currently I'm also playing Kingdom Hearts 2, reviving Rogue Galaxy, and maybe starting up Odin Sphere. I've determined that during the downtime when I don't feel like doing any work and such, I will finish games that I started (or just restart them in some cases). It's ridiculous how many games I have where I started them, got at least halfway, then got bored and moved on.

Valentine's Day weekend coming up and I got Monday off so I finally get to spend some quality time with Teddy perhaps and maybe go bowling? :) I'm glad to have him in my life, the goob.

Let's just hope this damn cough goes away soon. I'm medicating myself as much as possible.
