Where the hell are you?!

You have some explaining to do. Exactly why is Nicki free? You just let him waltz out - ah, no! You did more than that! You gave him a ride out! What the hell has got into you? Answer your phone, damn it!

nicki, louis

I'd imagine you'd want a break too, if you were in his shoes.

I know I wouldn't want to put up with jailing someone forever (or however long you had been planning). I don't know much about all the details because I was laid up sick, but even if he agreed to it I wouldn't expect for it to remain so for long. Jobs like out my way have people to pardon them every couple hours, for crying out loud. If they didn't people would go crazy.

Why are you assuming it's forever? Of course it's not forever. It's been six months! That's practically an instant when you really do live forever.

I didn't know how long that it'd been. It seems longer to me and I missed huge parts of this.
Still, people do generally get pardoned every few hours when tasked with this.
If not forever then how long? Were there plans to pardon him or was it just an indefinite order?

I can't say that I had an actual plan. Not really a plan.

It was working. Nicki was settling down without me around. I don't know, I suppose so. I'd have thought of something. I can't lock him up forever.

But that's the thing: it was working but you can't do that forever. He was bound to get out, and it'll be as it had been. If anything stupid comes your way you can handle it. You've always been good at that, you know. I admire your ability to adapt and overcome adversity.

What would you do with him?

I'm not sure. It is a tricky situation. I'd have tried to work out some pardoning agreement so it wouldn't get so stupid for whoever was trying to keep a lid on it.
Maybe hang out with Louis more, too since I think Kalika was right and this is for a little attention.
