Teague's post about fandom reputations is fascinating. Not so much the bit about fandoms having reputations, because, well, yeah. But the stuff about Escapade! Everyone goes in costume, and there are groupies who try to seduce writers! I had no idea. Clearly, my friends have been concealing the truth (and their costumes) from me. From now on, I want more details, people.
