When I first read OotP, I thought Hagrid was going to die in the OWLs chapter. Part of it was that I was spoiled for the fact that someone was going to die (yeah, me and the rest of the world), and part of it was that between the Stunning spells flashing like threads of light and the carrying of a stunned someone across the shoulders and the roars of defiance and so on, I was irresistibly reminded of the end of Rocky Horror. Which also meant picturing Dawlish and Umbridge as Riff-Raff and Magenta.

I'd like to say that I'm over it, but some things, you never really forget.
