I'm not grousing because certain other people are at Wango Tango and I'm sitting here half a world away in a decidedly non-sparkly environment. No. I wouldn't do that. I am grousing a little (or panicking in a dignified and ladylike manner, you pick) because the annoying songfic challenge story is due on June 1 and not only have I not written a single word, I don't have a clue what the words should be. I remember that I had an idea when I signed up, and I remember that I thought it was a pretty good one, but it's gone the way of the dodo and unfortunately, nothing else has evolved to take its place.
I distract myself with Justin mah jongg. I managed to break free of my addiction to the Chris version, and the Lance one had a scary orange picture, and the JC pics were a little dark for my eyes, and in a stunning display of willpower and common sense I haven't even gone to look at the Joey one. But Justin. sigh. I am trapped by the pretty. Send help a boxed lunch or something, I may be here a while.
Also, the divine Ms. K, who resists the sparkly but loves mythological madness, has made fan art for A ryght cruell beast. I'll get it up properly at the site later on, but in the meantime, you can see it here:
