I completely and utterly blame you for Recurrence, at any rate. You warped my perceptions before I even saw the movie. You gave me ideas.

Yes, well. Um. About that. koff See, I know where the story is going, and it depresses me to contemplate it; breaking off here is probably the closest it's going to get to a happy ending. Sometimes it's just best to get out of a fandom before you break your own heart. *g*

I believe I remember the title for part three. Though I could be confusing it with part four. So I always wondered... But the show went to hell in a jet-fuelled handbag between the time you started writing Lovers and when it got posted, so even without the heartbreak, I have a hard time imagining how you'd find a way to resolve it.

But is there anything, anything at all that would coax you to briefly tell us what might've happened? Your Mulder and Alex still roam around my head from time to time, and this is what... over five years since Con*Fusion.

Oddly enough whenever I re-read Ghosts, I have a huge craving for pecan pancakes from Waffle House.

Good lord, it's you! here! Livejournal is like a big reunion party for people who have been sundered by different fandoms.

Three was Deaths and four was Endings, I think, so that's nice and cheerful right there. And yeah, the divergence between the show and my universe became so extreme that it was hard to imagine reconciling them, and hard to actually be fannish about the show any more. sigh.
