Heh. Luckily, you get that writer's entire works to choose from, minus the one safe-story, so hopefully we won't be stuck going "What the HELL amd I supposed to work with here?!?"

::grin:: True. I was just thinking of those people who always write wonderfully atmospheric and ambiguous stories, and then I'd come along and... un-ambigue them? Un-ambiguate? Neologisms r us.

I couldn't think of anything to hold back as a safe story; I don't have that much stuff yet, so I didn't want to cut down on the selection. *g*

Oh... um... my personal worship for having better control of it than most native speakers? For being one of the best fanfic writers I've ever read period?

*flashbacks onto "Sweetly and Steadily", "Ghosts", "Beard", "Cakes and Ale", "The Weather Outside", and promptly dies*

Might I enquire as to what your first language may be?

Wow, thanks. :-) That's much nicer than a dictionary... And my first language is Swedish.

(Completely irrelevant, but: every time I see your lj username I start singing "Oh the lark in the morning." Um. A lark by any other time of day would sound as sweet? *g*)
