Today I made barley water, which isn't nearly as dreary as it sounds, and confused myself by singing repeatedly there were three [occupation] in the [geographical direction], which really doesn't scan. Also made something vaguely like boerenkool stamppot, only with endives instead of kale, because it's really hard to find kale here, unless you grow your own.
The weather outside is frightful. no really. Wind and snow and snow and wind; I thought my ears would blow off before I made it home yesterday. Today it was my nose.
Was completely convinced that I would get Source A for yuletide. I started reviewing Source A ahead of time, I had all kinds of ideas. Then, of course, I was assigned Source B. Which I love, but I was totally unprepared! But I think I may have the beginnings of a workable idea now.
