I apologize for the lack of promised porn on Friday. The course of true editing does not always run smooth, etc. So I'm not promising porn tomorrow, either, because who knows what will happen, but I'm working on it!
Am having wibbly thoughts about how to list pairings and warnings on my website. I'm overhauling it to make it simpler and better, and I thought, hey, I can be like a normal person and put pairings and warnings on the stories. Except I'm having trouble with the actual implementation of that idea. Like, in my heart of hearts I think warnings are spoilers and I have trouble spoiling people for things even when they repeatedly ask me to. And the pairing thing seems very straightforward until it's... not.
Yes, I kind of suck at this. Maybe if I pretend it's someone else's page and not mine, it might work. Maybe I should have lunch, too; homemade bread is soothing to the nerves.
I like stories that are all about how A and B are thrown together for plot-related reasons and while dealing with these plot-related reasons they gradually come to realize their attraction and fall in love. Good stuff. I do not so much like it when this gradual realization and falling is crammed into two short scenes and some exposition. In fact, you could say I feel cheated. Unsolicited writing advice to people who probably won't see it: if you don't feel up to writing more than a couple of scenes, maybe you should consider a different plot. Or a warning. :)
