Things wot I have learned today:
1, Cubis only goes up to level 50, then it starts over. sigh.
2, Many people are having holiday-story trouble - sesa, yuletide, seekrit_santa, what have you.
The Cubis thing is beyond me. But story trouble? Let me help! I have developed a useful model for how to plot your seasonal gift-story with practically no thought trouble! All you need is a D6 and pen and paper to jot down notes.
First, roll to decide on POV character.
1: the younger man. 2: the older man. 3: the shorter man. 4: the taller man. 5: the blond man. 6: the slut of the band/cast/precinct/school/galaxy.
Then roll to decide his relationship with the other half of your assigned pairing at the beginning of the story.
1: wistful yearning from afar. 2: fuckbuddy who dare not speak of his tender love. 3: established relationship, curtains optional. 4: best friend and what if this ruins the friendship omg no. 5: prickly tension just waiting to explode. 6: everything is strictly professional. no really.
Roll to decide the plot device that gets the story started.
1: they are trapped in a cave-in. 2: they are kidnapped by aliens. 3: someone's old friend the yenta comes to town/school/the space ship. 4: they go undercover in a gay bar/band/movie/space ship/school. 5: they have to save the world. 6: they have to learn a new dance routine.
Roll to decide how your pairing gets together.
1: one of them gets drunk and reveals the depths of his passion. 2: they get stuck together in an extremely confined space and poke each other with unavoidable erections. 3: the yenta has a long, long, long talk with your POV character. 4: everyone in the band/cast/police force/crew assumes they're together already and treats them accordingly. 5: one of them is hurt, and the other comforts him. or the other way around. 6: aliens make them have sex.
Roll to see how the sex scene starts out.
1: passionate kissing. 2: lascivious groping. 3: one finger. 4: two fingers. 5: three fingers. 6: the whole hand.
Roll to find out how the sex scene climaxes.
1: hand jobs. 2: blowjobs. 3: the POV character fucks the other character. 4: the other character fucks the POV character. 5: fade to black, so there. 6: the aliens interrupt at the wrong moment.
And finally, roll for the ending.
1: snuggling and discussion of new curtains. 2: they save the world and live happily ever after. 3: they learn the new dance routine but must part forever, woe. 4: more sex. 5: someone wins a lot of money in the band/cast/station/ship pool on the relationship. 6: the aliens put them in a zoo and feed them nothing but pop-tarts.
