Every so often I stumble upon a food blog that just makes my mouth water and my heart do that squeezy palpitating thing. I'm not sure it's healthy to have such a reaction to food porn, but I don't care. I soak it all in, promise myself I will make ALL THE THINGS, and do nothing. Later I'll stumble upon another blog (or, more likely, the same one but I've forgotten) and the cycle repeats itself. I've considered my own food blog- and occasionally someone will tell me that YES, I absolutely should do that, but I know myself better than to try to blog regularly. It just doesn't work. No pressure is better, and I usually accomplish more that way... But sometimes I do entertain the fancy. If I had a better camera, better lighting, better motivational skills...

Alas, for now I'll just sit around and read http://smittenkitchen.com while my breaded pork chops cook in the oven (with onions and fingerling potatoes!). The fresh organic green beans wait with butter, garlic, and chives for me to sauté them. And my stomach growls.
