You know, that's not really fair to the rest of the ship. What about people in training? They may need an extra boost of energy in between meals.

Then... then they can discuss it with me and ask for permission! But people shouldn't just be walking in and out of the kitchen at all hours!

I do agree that it can cause a lot of trouble for the cooks - heck, it's caused a lot of trouble for all of us before - but there's a better way to do this than to kick everybody out. I know it can be hard since you're not used to the ship yet, but maybe you should see how the other cooks do things first.

DAMN YOUR REASON :< flailingbento January 17 2011, 21:51:18 UTC
...Well. It might be a temporary measure. Depending, of course, on the greediness of the crew. And the nature of the ship's inventory.

But until that's decided, the rule stands!

Just remember - you don't have to treat us like the enemy. I mean, we're part of the same crew, right? So, instead of arguing over snacks, let's try to work together.

Tell that to the people who think they can take whatever they like whenever they want it! They're the ones making this impossible to deal with!

And who are these people, exactly? It can't be the entire ship, you know.

There are always a few. On every ship. Just because I don't know who it is on this ship yet doesn't mean they're not here!

But if you treat everybody like that, nothing will ever get solved. I mean, think about it: how would you like it if somebody you just met treated you like a thief?

I told you! The rule might change if the crew can behave themselves. So if they're not thieves, they should have nothing to worry about!

So, you and I both agree that the crew aren't thieves, right?
