The person I want to be doesn’t worry. She doesn’t worry
about the future or the past, she lives in the now. She doesn’t think about
tomorrow, the next hour or even the next minute. She just lives and is happy to
live.
The person I want to be can relax. She laughs. She is free and
knows no boundaries. She is not bounded by insecurity. She doesn’t worry about
the judgments of others and she makes no assumptions. She doesn’t overanalyze.
The person I want to be can express her emotions openly and has
no fear. She is articulate. She is able to love and to be loved. This girl is
not overly emotional but not so unemotional as to mislead people.
The person I want to be is assertive. She is not aggressive
nor is she passive. She doesn’t let people walk all over her. She is strong.
She stands for what she believes and she doesn’t let people mistreat her. She
doesn’t mistreat others.
The person I want to be has drive. She will accomplish her
goals and she won’t give up.
The person I want to be has control over all aspects of her
life. And because she has control, everything she wants, she has.
Therefore, what I need is to gain complete control over all
aspects of my life. Mostly, these are internal things such as learning how to reduce my stress level and staying in touch with now
rather than the past or the future.
It’s about learning and practice.
She is me.
