Over before it started?
So, the thing is, I'm thinking of withdrawing (if that's the right word) from cornerflag because I just don't see how I could get to finish it.
As of today, I've written a total of absolutely nothing at all. And I think this is what keeps me from writing:
- this summer's holiday is turning out to be a lot more busy than I expected.
- I hate deadlines. As soon as I know I have to be finished with something at a certain date, I go into Refusing To Work Mode. (The same applies to university, but there the fear of humiliating myself is bigger, and it still ends up disastrous every once in a while.)
- I have a few seminar papers to write on which I don't progress at all, either, and I think if I didn't write anything "serious" during the day there's no room for "fun" writing in the evening, either.
- Besides, I feel sort of stupid for being the only one writing outside of the theme.
Any advice?
