One time, DJ Cats rocked so hard, it killed a man
Tonight's performance at the Thirsty Ear (the only scheduled stop on the Dan Katz 2007: THE EMO TOUR tour) was excellent. Witty banter was loosely mixed with ironic covers and heartfelt ballads about people I know, and it turns out that my theory of "I have to drive home... so I'll get good and drunk by 9, then sober up by the exact instant I need to drive home" works perfectly.
This turned out to be just one stop on the amazing WhiteHouse Reunion tour:
5PM: Met Brie in shop and helped her figure out some rigging/folding/hinging sorts of details for Cabaret
7PM: Dinner with Todd and Dan (Dan is an honorary WhiteHouse resident, having spent many on the same Lincoln Bedroom I'm sitting on now)
9PM: Jenn Braun and Evan both attended concert. During concert, spoke with Rob Radez on Jenn's cell phone.
Dave Poland and Rogue Schindler, where ever you are, I hope all is well. And there's stil a 8'x10' flat in the Guild shop with your face on it (well, not your face Rogue).
