Scientists have proven there ARE other businesses just like show business...

Dear lab technicians in California,

I do not ask a lot of you.

I know that plating cells onto slides is a hard job. Sometimes red blood cells are lysed as all hell, and I understand.

I do not get angry when the Giemsa stain is really dark. That's a tough job.

I do not get upset when there are mysterious oils on slides that come in the mail. Maybe the mailman opened the package and spilled microscopy oil in there, who knows.

I don't even expect you to plate cells on the front of the slide, every time. All I ask is that you get the cells and the bar code on one side or the other. But putting the cells AND the bar code on the front side is still a good goal to shoot for.

Cordially yours,

Alex

PS To those of you who think my anger is funny, and are employed by Bioview USA, I will get you someday.

PPS Ravi, in case you read my live journal, I don't think I gave away any trade secrets. And, if I did, I'm pretty sure that's not why we're fucked anyway.
