I'm sorry but

Your culture is

Ranga

Rey-kobold

Nereid Three is covered in a surface layer of liquid silicates. It's temperature is well outside the standard limits of sentient life, but it contains a nonstandard life form known colloquially as the Ranga, or officially as the Rey-kobold.

Their structure might be described as humanoid, but they are not standards. While they have the usual two lower mobility appendage, two upper dexterity appendage layout with a visual head that defines standards humanoids, their torsos are very flat and oriented in a parallelogram, rather than the more common rectangles and cylinders. This extremely wide, thin central-spined back is laid throughout with thin bones which are jointed together to form what might be effectively described as wings. These wings are used to help in propulsion, along with their two lower appendages and their so-called tail. The lower appendages, ending in suction cup like structures, consist of several dozen bones of one to three centimeters in length, and have occasionally been described as tentacle like, though this is denotatively untrue, as tentacles do not have bone structure.

On males, the tail is spiked, but on child bearing genders it is not. One tip of the fork is always slightly longer than the other, and the fork is vertically aligned. The longer fork tip serves as the exit of their digestive tract. The tail is centrally located between the two lower appendages, and si roughly half the width and twice the length of these "legs".

Their skins are leather like, and in many places covered in thin, sharp scales. These scales amour over their necks, chests, wingtips, and down the length of their tails. The tails make formidable weapons, even on females, as a result of this scaling.

In addition to their wings, Ranga also have fully prehensile arm like appendages, which end in umbrella like webbed hands, capable of flattening to a full circle. Eight small grapsers lay evenly spaced along this circle.

Ranga are amphibious, but prefer underwater living for obvious reasons: they are designed for it. During the original colonization of their world, it was believed to be devoid of intelligent or pre-intelligent life, as the Ranga seemed concerned with little but mating.

They had developed very primitive system for the conversion of oxygen into energy on their own, but this system, involving a tightly coiled membrane, has been enhanced by Rani geneticists, allowing them to metabolize standard oxygen (O2) levels. While few Ranga are prone to intellectual pursuits, after several decades, new modifications have risen allowing Ranga to breath in several nonstandard environments, including the ability to metabolize using iodine as the oxidizing agent.

Ranga have lifespans of roughly sixty years, less than a quarter of Standard. However, they have what might be called genetic memory, and though a Ranga is born with a unique personality and physical form, they have “the important” memories of all five parents. Because some memories from previous generations are still deemed important, Ranga occasionally have firsthand knowledge of events as far as sixteen hundred years into their pasts.

Ranga very rarely travel off world, with just over one hundred Ranga living outside Nereid Three. Those who do are often forced to wear garments capable of providing them with the intesely hot temperatures they need to survive.

Ranga culture revolves almost entirely around sex and sexual acitivty, though their culture does not meet the definitions used to identify Sexual Religions.

It is theorized that Ranga originally used the standard two parent mode of birth, but millenia of evolution altered their physiques to match their culture.

Ranga would qualify as a magic driven culture, but their magics rely heavily on mental manipulation, which they have been proven to use effectively against all tested races, leading any opponent to go into a state that can only be described as intense attraction to the point of inabilty to function coherently. Battles against Rey-kobold have a tendency to end in orgies. However, only seven of the one hundred and four interstellar rey-kobold are in occupations requiring regular combat. The remainder are either prostitutes or therapists. They are very popular as prostitutes because their bodies do not appear to be subject to any of the sexual diseases that plague most, more standardized, races. Similarly, their abilities are popular in deep space as relationship counselors.

Historically, the Ranga had only one civil war before reaching interstellar levels, and have been in no similarly scaled violence since.
